"Some went down to the sea in ships, doing business on the great waters; they saw the deeds of the Lord, His wondrous works in the deep. For he commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. They mounted up to heaven; they went down to the depths; their courage melted away in their evil plight;
they reeled and staggered like drunken men and were at their wits' end. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven." Psalm 107:23-30

Happy Due Date sweet baby.

Amadeus Aurelia Haven 7-2-13

For his anger is but for a moment,
and his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning. Psalm 30:5

I wish you were here all new and warm in my arms so I could carry you to the font but instead you rest in the very arms of Jesus. It is far better for you but still we long for you. Christ keep you sweet child, until we meet again.

  1. Thank you for sharing these precious heart moments with the rest of us. You share such beautiful words and always meditate on the Scriptural truths. The picture of your sweet baby in your previous post is simply amazing. I don't mean that to sound like I am gawking, I am marveling. How fragile and precious life is, even its most early stages, when the human eye from the outside could ever detect the miracle on the inside. Rebekah

  2. Rebekah, thank you. It is dear sisters in Christ like you that are the very reason I shared Anastasia's picture. By the way, I found your website a couple months ago when it was linked to on facebook. I read your "desperate housewives-no laughing matter" post and I literally sobbed when I read it. It was like healing balm for my grieving and desperate heart. Thank you. Thank you so much.

  3. You are so welcome. That was one of those I've just gone crazy posts and out it all came at once. I remember you commenting on the post and wondering if it was you. You mentioned having several losses and from your name I thought I recognized you from the Simple Trust group. We were without internet for a long time (five years seems like an eternity when you are isolated and home with littles all day), so now that we have it again, I am so glad to find a few blogs of other mothers and pastors wives. It is good to know we are not alone, and also to share in each other's struggles that are different. (BTW, not sure why my website address pops up instead of my name. Can't figure that one out!)
